INZMO is a Berlin-based insurtech on a mission to radically simplify how consumers engage with insurance, starting with the underserved European rental market. Founded by Meeri Savolainen, INZMO is not just transforming how renters protect their homes and belongings; it’s also setting new standards for user experience, automation, and the role of women in fintech leadership.

Context and Objectives

The company was in a crucial growth phase when we began working with INZMO in 2021. It had just raised its seed round and needed to establish credibility in a saturated market. While the product was solid and the leadership impressive, it was largely flying under the radar of the broader insurtech and fintech ecosystems.

Our initial goals were threefold:

  1. Build INZMO’s brand awareness across Europe through strategic media placements.
  2. Position founder and CEO Meeri Savolainen as a standout female leader in the space.
  3. Elevate INZMO to top-tier insurtech status, supported by strong thought leadership, recognition, and event presence.

Our work followed a phased strategy that was in sync with the company’s growth.

Results Overview

Over three years of collaboration, we helped take INZMO from an under-the-radar startup to a recognised leader in European insurtech. By identifying the right messages, media, and moments to amplify, we consistently delivered high-impact coverage across top-tier and trade media, podcasts, and industry events.

We positioned INZMO’s founder, Meeri, as a go-to voice in insurtech, particularly for her perspectives on innovation, customer experience, and leadership. We also made sure that INZMO’s milestones (from funding rounds to product launches) landed in the publications that mattered most.

Phase 1: Establishing INZMO’s Market Presence (2021–2022)

Objective: Build visibility, credibility, and trust through PR momentum off the back of the company’s seed round.

Our first phase focused on putting INZMO on the map. We leveraged the company’s funding news and product innovation to secure media coverage in high-authority publications across finance, tech, and startup media.

Objective: Shift from general awareness to industry leadership by building Meeri’s profile and securing industry recognition.

With a strong base established, we moved to elevate INZMO’s founder. Meeri’s story—as a woman leading a fast-growing fintech—resonated strongly with journalists, helping us secure profile interviews and thought leadership content. We also supported her presence at strategic events to build credibility and visibility in key circles.

Objective: Solidify INZMO’s position as a leading European insurtech through key partnerships, new product launches, and continued thought leadership.

This phase focused on the amplification of major product milestones and strategic recognitions. A key highlight was the launch of INZMO’s AI-powered chatbot, Nimo, garnering widespread media interest. We also built on Meeri’s profile with major podcast appearances and event visibility across Europe and the U.S.
