Client: Modash
Vertical: Creator economy / martech
Project Type: One-off PR campaign
Focus: $12M Series A, Q4 2024
HQ: Tallinn, Estonia 🇪🇪
Brief
Modash, the Estonian creator partnerships platform trusted by brands like Birkenstock, Victoria’s Secret, and Farfetch, approached us to announce their $12M Series A led by henQ VC.
The opportunity was clear, but so was the challenge. Creator economy funding stories are a crowded field, and Modash needed more than a Baltic startup moment. They needed international tech press credibility. Our goal was to land tier-one global coverage and establish Modash as the serious infrastructure layer behind modern influencer marketing, not just another tool in a noisy space.
Our Approach
- Developed a narrative that reframed the story around the structural problem in influencer marketing, incomplete data, cumbersome tooling, creators left unpaid, positioning Modash’s platform as the fix the industry had been waiting for.
- Pursued a TechCrunch exclusive as the anchor placement, building a strong hook and briefing Anna Heim with the context, data, and access needed to produce a compelling, standalone feature.
- Ran parallel outreach across European tech and startup media in English and local languages, ensuring strong regional pick-up alongside the global headline.
- Handled a secondary campaign around Modash’s acquisition of fellow Estonian startup Promoty — a smaller, domain-level transaction, but one we shaped into a clean PR exit narrative for both sides, generating meaningful regional coverage.
Results
We landed the TechCrunch exclusive on launch day, the headline win the campaign was built around.
TechCrunch – Anna Heim: “Modash is flipping the influencer marketing script by connecting brands with the long tail of creators”

The piece ran on 30 October 2024, anchored the campaign and drove organic pick-up across the ecosystem.
In addition we landed:
- EU Startups
- AIN.UA
- ArcticStartup
- Tech.eu
- And many more in startup media
